Hello, welcome to my photo site!

My name is Yuri Pustovoy and I’m professional cinematographer, graduated from cameramen faculty of Russian State Institute of Cinematography. Name of my profession prompted me the name of the site - «c-man», stands for cameraman. By the time, when «perestroika» befallen on the country, I’d managed to make 12 movies and then headed film equipment lease company.

I’ve traveled a lot — in my childhood with my family, and later — as professional cameramen with my team.

Over those many years I’ve been working on my movies, I’ve visited almost all former USSR republics from Baltic Sea to Pamir.

Even not being practicing cameramen, I still hold natural affinity to photography wherever I go, on business trip or on tourist tours; I always take photo camera and hunt for my main trophy — photographs. In my photography I prefer such themes as landscapes, nature, cities, people and their habits, animals…

Alas, vacations are always too short and there are only 365 days in the year…
